• The iPad’s charger is used to charge up the keyboard which lasts for a couple months of use.

• It is powered by a USB-C connector (the same connector/cord that came with the iPadPro 11). The keyboard case battery holds a charge a long time (depending on how much you use it). For me, using the keyboard a couple of hours a day, a charge lasts maybe 2 months before it needs to be plugged in again.

• It is battery operated and charges with the same usb c cable as the iPad Pro

• The keyboard has a separate rechargeable battery inside of it which lasts quite a long time. To recharge it, you simply plug the USB-C cable you have with your iPad Pro into the slot on the side of the keyboard. If you put your iPad inside the case correctly, that slot will be on the same side as the iPad's USB-C slot.
