• Hello, the Slim Folio Pro keyboard case uses a USB Type C charging cable. It doesn't come with a charging cable out of the box. You would have to buy one separately or you can use the same USB-C cable as the iPad Pro.

• I guess you have to wait for some time and maybe it will work. If not, then try another idea: charge your iPad with the keyboard on, do not turn it over. I guess that would work. If it still does not, ask a person who has skill with it.
