“Does the Lomi Composter use charcoal filters? If so, how often do they need to be replaced?”

• It's actually loose charcoal pieces and they say they need to be replaced every 3-6 months depending on the useage. They don't say how we'll know when it's time but I suspect it will start to smell like a landfill when it's running, which will be our clue.

• It uses little pieces of charcoal in two separate containers located on the lomi one on the top inside and one on the inside of the back cover.
