“Rather then connect the cameras directly to the NVR can I create a single VLAN within my network and attach the NVR to it. Then place all of my cameras in the same VLAN using the same IP subnet. Would the NVR then support more hen 8 cameras.”

• NVR supports a maximum of 8 cameras. Make sure your switch has POE to power up the cameras and then you can search the network to find the cameras on the VLAN if the NVR is on the same VLAN IP subnet.
