Hello, This unit comes with a 1TB HDD, and the recording time will vary depending on the settings in the DVR for quality, resolution and frame rate, as well as if the system is recording in motion, continuous or scheduled recording modes. Depending on settings you can get anywhere from a several days (at maximum quality settings, constant recording), up to several months (lower settings in motion etc. ) Thanks, Lorex
