QuestionOk...so ordering your system and purchasing a monitor will I be able to use this system for real time monitoring not using a router or internet. Simply buying the package and install, connect to monitor and have real time monitoring capabilities.

- Answer You should have no problem using without internet. A LAN with enough bandwidth should work fine for local monitoring.

QuestionI returned a Poe system because connections to the camera kept dropping and my internet slowed down, IP addresses to the cameras were 192.168.1.x (same as router) and 10.0.0.x. Does the Lorex cameras use the same subnet as the router, or private IP's?

QuestionDoes the NVR support PTZ cameras? Two way audio? Can the NVR record continuously, and still send push notifications when motion is detected? What is the frames-per-second rate that recording takes place? Does it have the compressed playback review?

- Answer Yes, choose a camera with onVif and it’ll pair right up. I have one POE PTZ camera connected to this system.

QuestionWhat is the frames per second for both 2K and 4K?

- Answer These cameras only record at 15fps using 4k resolutions. A recording quality~2k or less can be recorded at 30fps. Lorex cameras have the ability to record 4k @ 30fps but they are not in this set. For some reason, best buy is not selling the new tech stock yet. (disappointing) Perhaps because Lorex has the new technology cameras listed just under $600.00 each, putting this would be, 4 camera system around 3,000.00. It's a lot to pay for an addition 15fps, (@ 30fps)
