• Yes, it looks like 1 channel of audio can be recorded. See page 87 of the user manual at lorextechnology.com

• There is very little information on this issue on page 87 it has a little information on it. Yes, it can record audio and Yes, you can use it as an intercom "channel 1 only". It is very frustrating that there is not a lot of information on this and no information on where to buy an powered audio mic and powered audio speaker to add to this system. On their app for android phones you can find the intercom function from the home screen on the app above the picture of your first camera feed on the right is a ... if you push on that it brings you to a screen with an intercom icon at the top.
