“I have no display on tv after resetting the resolution on the dvr to 4K. Now I can’t even do a factory reset because it says I have no signal out of dvr. Model lhv 5801”

You have to log in remotely and reset to you monitor capabilities or call for remote session with Lorex. If your DVR has an “FN” button you can try holding for 35 seconds. Tech said if that doesn’t work you have to try other methods mentioned. Good Luck!

Please try again later.Go to your computer connected to the same lan (network) as the lorex Open a browser ( any browser) In the address bar put the IP address of the lorex ( example 192.168.1.146) You my have different ip address check your router it should tell you what address is assign to lorex Once there login with the admin user/ password ( you setup this went you fist set the nvr) Go to setup on the top Then System on the left Then Display Change your resolution to something safe like 1920*1080 Click ok

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue, I called the help line and he walked me through it and I felt pretty dumb after the fact because it was so easy. So on my model, there's a round button on the front of the Lorex DRV, and a on and off switch on the back. To reset the resolution, you hold down the front button, flip the switch to off while keeping the front button pressed in, wait a couple seconds and turn it back on while keeping the front button pressed in. Hold it until the Lorex logo pops up and then release it. It does take a bit so just keep holding the button until the logo comes up, took almost 45 seconds for me. After that, everything came back and I was good to go.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.plugged an HDMI cable to our 4K TV , was able to see the Lorex sign in screen and then able to lower the resolution was able to put it back on the other TV now it works fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.PRESS and HOLD DOWN the FN button on your NVR for 35 seconds , then release ... the system will reboot and the screen will revert to it's basic display resolution ... it really worked for me !
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You type your ip address into edge of chrome. You can get it from your mobile app. Security warning will show up , just go to the site. Type in your password and it will load just like your dvr. If you need to reset an older lorex, cuz it won't take your password etc. And the pressing panic button don't work , take off the cover and pop out the little battery for a few minutes. Reboot and you get in.

The old system easy to setup the APP on your phone. The newer system is not easy to know. both APPs are not compatible. Old system packback on the phone you can tap it playback fast x1, x2 ... but the new can't do that.
