A:AnswerDepends on if you have enough memory on the new one. Not sure if they do it at Best Buy but it’s fairly easy to do using migration assistant. I’ve never tried it in the store but I would imagine geek squad could
A:AnswerYes. This computer comes with software called GarageBand, which is Apple's in-house music production suite and music editor. It comes with a very large library of drum loops out of the box and additional packs of beats designed by world-class producers. You can add more beat samples to your library by downloading "producer packs" within GarageBand while you're working on music. That part is easy to do, and they let you browse and download the producer packs in the loop library itself where you choose the beats for your song. These extra producer packs and the loops/beats it comes with are all free. You just have to make sure you have enough memory storage in your computer for them (though if you don't have enough, it will just not download the producer pack you're trying to add to your beats collection). But the producer and sample packs don't take up a huge amount of memory space, so it hasn't been an issue at all on this computer when I've used GarageBand.
