Yes. The one year limited warranty is on your new MacBook even though you purchased from BBY. If it is open box, consult BBY but generally they will advise you before purchase. Either way BBY sells an extra cost warranty called total tech for two years or AppleCare which is also two years or by the year for as long as you own it

Yes, apple warranty is automatic regardless of where you purchase it. I bought an iphone in Portugal from a generic store and needed to have it warrantied 6 months later when I was in Spain. They gave me a new one on the spot.
