“Mixed information on this…does this Cinema 40 have a “TOROIDAL” power core, or something different ? I was told that the Toroidal power core was superior to other types and was only in the very best AVR. I think Toroidal is in previous flagship 8015.”

Hello, The Cinema 40 features an EI Core transformer. EI Core transformers are also favored by many higher-end tube amplifier manufacturers.
