Q: QuestionMixed information on this…does this Cinema 40 have a “TOROIDAL” power core, or something different ? I was told that the Toroidal power core was superior to other types and was only in the very best AVR. I think Toroidal is in previous flagship 8015.

Q: QuestionCan this be connected to a separate Amp to power additional channels? Which amp would you recommend?

• A:Answer Hi JS, The Marantz Cinema 40 offers pre-outputs for all channels, with 9 channels of amplification and 11.4 channels of processing. There are multiple excellent amplifiers to choose from.
