• Yes! The headphones will automatically turn off after a short period of time if you haven’t already turned the off while using the jack to conserve battery life.

• Hi Dave, Thanks for your question. Yes, the Major IV can be used with a 3.5 mm aux cable. The microphone will only work for calls with the headset powered on.
