• When buying a disc for a game the disc will forever be required to play that game UNLESS if you a digital copy. You can’t download the game with the disc and sell the disc and expect the game to still work.

• You use the disc to install to your system, but then the disc HAS to be in the system every time you boot it up. This is so they can verify you still own the game you're trying to play (otherwise you could install it and then sell your copy elsewhere, but continue to play)
