I originally answered no when scheduling my delivery that we did not want our old appliance taken away. When the new delivery came and everything installed, the service person asked if we would like the old appliance removed so to answer your question, they asked us if we'd like them to take our old appliance even though I originally said no. It shouldn't matter either way but this was just my experience. I'm not sure it's the same for everyone. Good luck!
