• Best Buy needs to give people an option of leaving this page if they don’t have an answer. I’ll just type some crap in so I can at least get back to where I was. Someone needs to talk to the idiots who did this part for their website.

• Selecting the “Extra Power” option gives it a cold water pre-wash. Add detergent to the bleach compartment.

• Mondayblues, the Washer settings are default settings. There are too many variables to determine if the gasket gets bad, but it can be replaced. Hopefully, this information is beneficial to you. Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Maytag appliances!
