“How does the deep fill work? Can every load be a deep fill if wanted? Does it fill all the way to the top? Will the water heater heat cooler water coming into the machine so that the whites cycle is always a hot temperature?”

You can select a deep fill option for the cycle you choose. The water will not fill to the top of the washer. The hot water will only be as warm as the incoming hot water.
