Can a king size comforter fit in this 4.8 cf washer? null

Hello Honu! This model does have a lot of space, however, materials and thickness can vary with bedding. We would recommend following the manufacturer's instructions on the bedding and if placed in the unit to not overload. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.

My washing machine is relatively new and doing great so far. I only have a full size comforter so I can’t answer if a king size one would fit this washer. A suggestion would be to go to a Best Buy and check out the washing machine’s interior size. My agitator is at the bottom of the machine so I could have extra space for larger items.
