What is the reason for a built in faucet null

I believe it’s for sensing water levels , I love my new washer

Hello JJ! This model does not have the built in faucet. However, the faucet feature gives you the option to wash items using a sink like feature. We hope this helps.

This unit does not have one. The units that do are for people who don’t want to use a sink to soak for stain removal
