Just had the Maytag repair person here and it was a computer re-programming issue that he did to solve the issue... The Best Buy Maytag person that answered this question the first time did not know what he was talking about...

I do understand your answer however, there is NO water being dispensed into the tub so sensing a load to dispense the correct amount of water does not work with the Extra Power Button activated. The washer starts the washing cycle with NO water in the tub as it bypasses the Filling Cycle. So your answer does not help and is not an answer that solves the issue.
