A:AnswerDoesn’t matter because their warranty is worthless. Our washer broke 3 months after we purchased it and they can’t seem to help us. Their solution was to send a 2 star repair company to give us the run around and not fix anything.
A:AnswerNo, to date, it has performed well and without damaging any clothes.
Suggestion: Have you carefully felt around the washer basket for any sharp protrusions? Just a thought...
Hope that helps.
A:AnswerIt may be the controller, the part alone is $699 according to the quote I got from the service man. Mine is only 18 months old and I'm done with it, and Maytag.
A:AnswerMost clothes I place in this washer, come out dry/moist. If it is a thicker type of clothing or a blanket, not as dry. Overall I think it’s a good washer
A:AnswerI'd advise you to get a new machine. I am, after two service calls.. the last would amount to a cost close to the original price of the machine. Cut your loses and get another one.. and don't forget the plan on anything. Nothing is built to the quality it once was these days, but this one definitely does not stand up.
