As mentioned you need the kit and vent. What we found is that the "installers" come with limited tools and can only do one thing which is to install the fitting into the existing line. If your installation requires more than that they walk away. We had to hire a plumber for $90 for the "simple" job - which is simple if you have more than a pair of channel locks in your tool kit. We will never buy an appliance that requires installation at Best Buy after our last experience.

Do you have gas line already in place? It is a simple to install, just need to buy hook up kit and vent.

Gas line $32, Dryer vent kit $14,normal install dryer $20. If you need a side vent and not a normal install it would be another $150 which I needed because of the small space where the washer and dryer where installed.
