“will the installers be able to give me parts I might need to accommodate the steam function? Or do I need to order ahead of time? Not sure if it's included in the extra parts it had me add to the dryer in cart.”

You need to order the kit but can do it later. Amazon has the kit and if you YouTube it you can get the parts from your local hardware. Easy to install in about 15 minutes and no modifications needed.
