• Metallic Slate and Chrome Shadow are the same. My washer was listed as Metallic Slate and my dryer as Chrome Shadow yet having them side-by-side in my house it's apparent they're the same color.

• No, it is recommended to use Maytag pedestal # WFP2715HC which is designed to properly match and fit the WGD8620HC.

• Hello tobythecat, the XHPC155YC is Metallic Slate in color and is a different color than Chrome Shadow. We would suggest the WFP2715HC which is Chrome Shadow and designed to properly match and fit the WGD8620HC.
