“I bought 2 Maytag pedestals from Best Buy. Suffix YC all the websites say that this model is for both washer and dryer. The dryer pedestal suffix yc fits perfect. However the washer suffix yc mounts on the washer but the door doesn't close.”

BB said contact Maytag so I did. Maytag responded that this pedestal is supposed to fit model 5630 washer and dryer. However they also said they don't make pedestal to fit washer model 5630 and are sorry for my inconvenience. That is a sorry excuse for their screw up. I would attach a copy of their email but can't.
