• I would say yes. My mom uses these with the TV at a nursing home and there is nothing fancy about the TV at all.

• Yes, these headphones are designed for TVs with no built-in Bluetooth. The headphones include a Bluetooth transmitter, which connects to your TV via one of your TV's audio outputs and gives it Bluetooth functionality.
