Short answer, Yes, it will work. As long as your TV has a proper output jack available, you can connect this bluetooth adaptor and transmit bluetooth signals to 2 different bluetooth headphones. I have the adaptor connected to a Vizio TV (the TV does not have bluetooth). I have the bluetooth adaptor connected to 2 headphones. One is my Apple AirPods and the other is my Sony WH-1000XM2 noise canceling headphones. It is kind of weird when I put the Sonys on and ALL other noise is blocked. You only hear the sound from the TV source. Very nice. Pairing was very simple and quick.
