• This device will do that but using Bluetooth for this is not recommended as this device transmits in stereo, with both left and right channels, so using it to set up Bluetooth speakers as part of a home theater system will not allow you to have dedicated speakers for left and right - they will all be playing in stereo. In addition, audio delay could be a problem if the other speakers in your surround system are hard wired. The way to avoid this with Bluetooth would be to use speakers that support the aptX Low Latency Bluetooth profile, but the vast majority of Bluetooth speakers are not designed for low latency applications and thus do not support it. So again, not recommended to use Bluetooth for this.
