I would just go with the beacons. They all talk to each other over a "back channel" on the wifi so you do not lose performance. You only need another eero if you had an ethernet connection wired back to the main eero router which would give you better performance than just a beacon.

If you are doing a lot of streaming and have a significant amount (more than 15-20) devices on your network then the best you could do would be to hardwire or connect wirelessly another standard Eero back to your “Gateway” Eero. If hardwiring isn’t an option then the beacons will definitely suffice (and you will save a little bit of money). The standard Eeros are a little bit better than the beacons but if you are not using a ton of devices on your network then the beacons with the standard Eero will more than get the job done.
