How much does the 64 GB differ from the 256 GB in # of games/storage? null

I have 37 Games installed on my Oculus Quest 2 256gb model and there is about 170gb free. On the Oculus Quest 1 i have the same games installed, but it is the 128gb model, and i have 50gb free. I would say if you have the 64gb model you can safely expect to have 10-20 games installed but that's about it. Good news is that they uninstall and install quickly.

it really is a game to game basis. with more and more games coming out to calling for more and more storage space if you can upgrade to the higher storage versions i would recommend it.

It’s a big difference ! Especially if you plan to buy a lot of games and apps . Trust me . You will ! Once you start using it you’ll be amazed how incredible VR is . The Occulist 2 is the best VR headset you can buy in my opinion . If you factor in price , ease of use ( a second computer is not required ) and the fact that you only need the headset without extra sensors . It’s the best value on the market . Trust , you’ll will fill up 64 gigs in no time .

I don't thinks its anything important for today. The issue will be future use. 
The games and content will only get bigger once more developers work with this platform. 
I would buy the 256 if you can afford it. You can not upgrade the 64 to my knowledge.

I feel like the main reason to get the 256 is if you are going to save videos or movies to watch on your VR. If you are only going to be playing games, the 64 is probably fine.

Depends on the size of the games. Most right now are in the 1-2 gb range. As time goes on though I suspect they will get larger as the extra power of the 2 allows for better textures and features which require more space.

The 64 is good for a couple of games. The 256 is recommended for a number of games. In this case more is better and worth the money

it makes it so you can play games without having to redownload games to make space. size of games matter and saves , i have a ton of songs downloaded on the 256, i head gameplay is not effected by storage space.

All games are different sizes so there's no way to answer this question exactly. Most Quest games are small (around 2.5 GB or less) so you'll fit a lot into 64 GB ... you'll basically never fill up 256 GB unless you just try to download all the games at once. Since all games are downloaded via the cloud, there's no real necessity to store all your games on the Quest 2.

64gb model holds approximately 10-20 games (but depends on the size of the game downloads).. 10-20 games is the typical range. I would say you're probably going to be closer to 20 games though... 

The 256 model can hold well over 50 games. I personally have the 256gb Quest 2 and the 128gb Quest 1 both have about 38-40 games on them. With 40 games the quest 2 256gb has about 165gb free, the 128gb quest 1 has about 46gb free. 

the more storage is nice as you can take alot with you on the go... But price point you really cant go bad with either one.. If there are only ever 15-20 games you want to keep on there then the 64gb should be fine.

My scientific answer would be a F@#@%! Huge difference I do t know for sure how much space the games take up but just remember you can’t add more memory if you need it so better to go more upfront I use to tell my computer customers the same thing always buy with the most of thing you can’t add later such as processors and ram plus you can never go wrong with more right!

Everything about both devices are the same. I have had both, honestly with the 64 GB you run out of memory really easily compared to the 256GB. I use my as a stand alone since I have no pc. I’m pretty sure that it would be a different case if I’ve owned a pc since most of the game would’ve been stored there and not on the device.
