Not for sure about this case. But they make other cases for the quest 2 that are waterproof. Just look them up on google.

I haven't tested the zipper but the shell itself doesn't let water get through. It seems like it could stain though.

The case is not rated for either, but if you spilled a coffee on your Quest 2 case, it'll protect the contents ... though the case will stain and smell like coffee forever. It's definitely not waterproof.

There is a standard zipper so it would not be waterproof, but would offer a decent amount of protection from a spill, like a drink at a little rain.

I'd call it more water resistant. If was was soaked in liquid, it'd eventually leak through if not caught quick enough.

I’m not 100% sure, but by the feel and sturdiness of the case. I would be safe to say that we drank next to the cases, but no one really spilled anything big, but we were not concerned.
