Yes, buy this and then get your reveiver display screen (at same time). Mine was 6.8". I would consult with s best buy rep though, because if youre DIYing, youll also need stereo conne tor, antenna adapter and wiring harness (sold separately) for your 2012 frontier, I recommend putting in a reverse camera such as "metra - license plate back up camera" and maybe a sirius receiver
