A:AnswerI had Outlook 2010 and upgraded to Office 365, I didn't lose any emails. Everything migrated over. Not sure about multiple machines, I installed on two and all emails were there after the installation.

A:AnswerI am not aware of that issue. It is always a great idea to disable anti virus programs when installing genuine software. It comes from a reliable source and is free of malware. After install, enable the virus protection and you should be good to go.

A:AnswerI am trying to understand the question. The office software is based on a 1 year subcription. You of course can buy the software itself for full price but you will not get the updates and upgrades that you would with the one year subscription. In my mind you come out cheaper over time since you will not readily get upgrades continually over the years.
I had the Mac software for 2011 for years and used it for years ... likely 7 or more until my laptop crashed. I was missing of course the new templates and features that came over the years. It is a sign of the time that Microsoft has moved to the subscription based software.
