A:Answer$180 plus the tax ... but it’s worth the $30? Extra ... 40hr battery back and Bluetooth... the Xbox to PC wireless controller adapter is priced at $25 ... so if you have Bluetooth on your PC, Android or NVidia shield like I do ... you’re all set unless like me, you’d also get the warranty coverage $40 to protect your investment
A:AnswerThe Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 is not scheduled for a price reduction for Black Friday 2019. To see this year's Black Friday deals at Best Buy, go here: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/black-friday/sale-ad
A:AnswerIt is a Lithium Ion battery. Microsoft claims the battery will power the controller for up to 40 hours on a single charge. That means if the rumble motors (haptic feedback) are set to off via the accessory app, you should be able to get that 40-hour life.
Keep in mind it comes with an included usb-c cable that can be used to wire the controller to the xbox, not just to charge it up.
And the charge dock allows for in-case charging or out-of-case charging.
A:AnswerThis controller is so new that it will not be discounted on Black Friday. $179 will be the normal price for quite a while the original elite is still $149. $179 is well worth the price of the controller.
A:AnswerThe View and Menu buttons may not be remapped using the Xbox Accessories app. For more information, go here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/xbox-accessories-elite-series-2
A:AnswerThe new elites are based off the redesigns of the the second generation controllers. I could very well be wrong but I believe they changed to individual bumpers versus the one solid piece it used to be. I've replaced a few of the first generation and elite broken bumpers and they often break towards the center where the piece is the thinnest. Changing to individual pieces eliminates this center piece all together. As far as adhesives, everything that I've seen hints that they've fixed the problem of the rubber coming off. Here's to hoping they did fix it. If nothing else get the geek squad warranty and it'll cover the rubber coming off IF it does since that is normal wear and tear which IS covered by the warranty. I don't work for best buy, geek squad, microsoft or anyone else. This has just been my experience. I recommend contacting microsoft support as they have been helpful towards me multiple times even with just general inquiries.
A:AnswerIf you are going to play these games on a controller (whether your pc or xbox) I would highly recommend an elite controller. Mine has lasted me the last 2 years with no problems and still has amazing battery life only requiring a charge every other week or so.
A:AnswerYes it does, it connects to PC. You beed to worry about the game your playing and it supporting controller gameplay. But these controllers are made by Microsoft, a computer company and are compatible.
