“Hello I am curious I had checked online for trade in for my white elite 1 and best buy only wanted to give me$ 15 but I seen someone on here saying they were taking in there elite 1 getting 150 credit and only having to pay the other 30 40 is this true”

You don’t just get that credit. You have to own the insurance plan on your controller and have a defective item obviously to activate the insurance. In that case you would bring it in, make insurance claim and receive your money back equivalent to what you paid for originally.
