“I've owned two of the original elite controllers and both had issues with the rubber grips coming undone. Besides the copy and paste "we've heard your input and redesigned" speech, what assurances do I have that these rubber grips are secured?”

Rubber grips are secure and replaceable. Series 1 joysticks will not work with a series 2. Just an fyi
