I had the same issue. Ordered FST-00008 and confirmation detail shows FST-00001. Later I got the model Fst-00001 delivered and it already has a defect. Only two Battery meter LED light on full battery charge.

I ordered the Microsoft Elite Controller Series 2 FST-00008 but I was shipped the FST-00001 model. I returned it. I had to go out to the store for my return with the pandemic in full effect. I contacted customer service on the phone and they told me to just reorder it. No real problem solver! What is even weirder in the Best Buy iOS app it reads as model FST-00001 but when I go on my Apple MacBook Pro and use the web browser Safari the Best Buy website product page says it's the FST-00008 model. I definitely ordered from Safari on my Apple MacBook Pro, not on my iPhone, and still got shipped the FST-00001 model! Someone at Best Buy/Microsoft needs to straighten this out. I refuse to keep ordering an returning in an eternal loop lol
