I take it off for my own use (and I am a novelist so I am at my desk a LOT). I don't like the back slope and my hands/wrists seem to be fine without it.

I have carpal tunnel as well, the lift is not necessary it snaps right off, the keyboard has 2 clips in the front (one on each side) I just pull those out & it raises the top of the keyboard up just a little bit.. I won’t use any other ergonomic keyboard but this one, in my opinion it’s the best out there!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been using this same keyboard for over 12 years.i never used it and actually I just threw it away. But I don't have carpal tunnel. I guess it depends how you feel but it's good it is included in case you need it.
