A:Answer I have had five or six keyboards over the course of time. I type 85 words a minute, so my priority is that the keys can recover before I hit the next one. This keyboard does indeed meet those expectations and it is relatively quiet; but not SILENT. If that is what you seek, I am not sure which keyboard you need. It is Erg Dynamic and I had an earlier version of the Microsoft keyboard that was curved more than this one and I liked it better. But I cannot find that one. I tried to use the old one with a Keyboard to USB adaptor, but it didn't recognize WINDOWS 10 . [which I Hate !!! ]. So though they say things improve with technology, perhaps old school is better. Not a bad keyboard for the price and I am happy with it for the present.
