“Are files created on MS Office 2019 backward compatible to earlier versions, specifically Office 2013 and/or 2007? I just purchased a new computer and want to install MS Office 2019 and would like to be able to transfer Word files to my other computer.”

Word and Excel files created in Office 2019 can be saved in many formats including the older ".doc ", ".xls" or even ".pdf".
