• This is a one time purchase that lasts as long as you have the PC or MAC computer. You only renew if you are upgrading for example from Office 2016 to the new office 2019 or if you use Office 365 which is subscription based where you pay for access to Office on a monthly or yearly basis.

• No, once you purchase the software you will have it in your possession as long as it is supported by Microsoft.
