• Once you use the activation key to register, they give you the option to download an ISO image to burn to a CD/DVD, but Microsoft no longer supplies the CD/DVD anymore. Microsoft has switched to all digital download.

• I do not know. Contact Microsoft to find out. After you get the license code login to Microsoft and download the software. I understand your concerns. So make sure that you have your VPN on first. Not a free VPN you should have your own purchased software on a yearly contract. The other option that I use for additional Internet Security because it scrambles thing. I'm not a tech. I'm at home user. Hope this helps.
