That's what's good about this: there is no need to renew any subscription. For a one-time cost, you can plug away at your work tasks on Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

No, Office Home and Student 2019 is a one time purchase. However, I would think that there will be an opportunity to purchase updates in the future.
