It’s worth the buy you be saving yourself a lot of money plus batteries are not cheap

Please try again later.no, get the charger kit to save you time and money plus if you pack dies you can still play your game with it plugged in to charge the battery pack so you won't have to wait for the controller to charger plus the pack last longer then putting normal batteries in the controller.
