When you get the laptop you have to download the standard Windows 10 operating software as Quicken and QuickBooks are not able to be downloaded on the Windows 10s version that comes with the surface laptop. Once you have standard Windows 10 you can download the Quicken/QuickBooks and use with no problem. I have not seen any slowdown or problems with the full with Windows 10 version. It is free to get windows 10 until March 2018.

It is a Windows computer, so QuickBooks should run on it OK. It can run any software a windows computer can run.
