Is this laptop good for Engineering? If not what other options may be suitable? null

It depends.  Are you planning to do alot of solid state modelling or 3D rendering?  If so, you should find a with a better graphics card.  This Surface device has an entry-level graphics system, so if you're going to be designing complicated parts in 3D and rotating them around, shading them, etc - find a different laptop.

If you plan on just doing 2 dimensional work - I think this laptop would be fine.

The Memory, Processor and Disk are good - it's more about the requirements of your Engineering software package.
