• A seperate ccharger can be purchased. My Surface laptop though ddoes have the ability to charge it by placing it in the correct location under the base. Its actually pretty slick if you ask me.

• Hello.... Regarding this question, you better have the Surface Duo 2 cover in piece to charge the pen with this case.
