I have this type cover. However when I am in excel the mouse won't let me drag and I don't know what to do. null

I had the same issue in other applications and thought it was a faulty keyboard. Well, Microsoft store (Mall of America) people told me that this mouse pad is designed this way. Drag-n'-drop function has to be done using two hands: one holding the left-click button and another doing the drag on the pad. Very inconvenient.

Put the mouse where you need it to be. Hold down left click with one hand and use the mousepad to drag with the other. If that makes sense.

Use your finger to highlight than click and drag with the mouse or your finger it works for me.

This is true. I have also had problems dragging with the mouse but all I do is touch the screen and drag with my finger.

Hold one on the spaces below the touch pad. Similar to a laptop.
