There is a fair chance the pro version will install just fine due to the nature of windows keys now. The key is locked to your motherboard so when you change hardware it doesn't cause a huge disruption in registration. If it doesn't work you would have to follow the same process as you stated before. If I had to guess I would say there is a very good (80% or better) chance it will just install without question.
