I did it on my son's Toshiba Satellite that had VISTA, and it was effortless. I don't think it's a fast as a clean install. But the Win 7 upgrade will seem like heaven compared to Vista. That OS was the worst ever.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The microsoft website gives good detail on what to do. Its actually relatively painless. I just saved my files on an external hard drive and downloaded my apps like quickbooks and norton from ther websites.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can, but I wouldn't recommend it. An upgrade means it has to go through every file and bring it up to snuff, a clean install is much quicker. When the disc is inserted, it will ask you if you want to create a partition to install it.
